Our Story - R&R Confidence was created through sheer passion and personal experience. We wanted to create a range of fashionable, stylish and well fitted head scarves and headwear soft hats for women experiencing hair loss. Chemotherapy cancer treatments, hormone imbalance and alopecia are the most common causes of hair loss. Following her own personal hair loss experience, Lorraine teamed up with Gina, an experienced fashion designer and so R&R was born. Together we researched and designed a range of fashionable and chic headscarves and headwear soft hats for all women that are experiencing hair loss. As hair starts to grow again, the head scarves and headwear soft hats will be comfortable and stylish to wear. I've just placed my third order as there is nothing else out there available of this quality and innovative style. I've really done my research so I should know. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy and live in Northern Spain so have chosen not to wear a wig as it will be too hot for me in the heat. Also, as everyone knows anyway, I decided that wig would appear like I was trying to hide something which seemed a bit pointless. What I have done, however, is bought a little Velcro 'stick on' fringe and sometimes just attach it on to my R&R hat or scarf. It seems to remain in place and just gives me a different, softer look. I am certainly not a Sinead O'Conner or Dawn Porter look alike so don't feel brave enough to go the 'Full Monty' head wise! Whilst my friends & family are aware I don't want to be viewed as a victim, frighten little children or necessarily share my situation with people I don't know as hair loss is so obvious! I love the way everything is designed to cover those 'giveaway' areas like the sides of the head above the ears and the back of the neck, Lorraine was also kind enough to email me back with advice on the coolest (as in heat!) head wear in the range which would be the most comfortable. I feel the prices are reasonable for the work that has gone into them. My orders have been dispatched correctly, quickly and efficiently although only to relatives in the UK who send or bring them out to me as there are no international deliveries available just yet - something to think about, R&R? I seem to get a second look and turn heads at the hospital as no one else is sporting such lovely head coverings. I've had comments that my head scarves look a little Egyptian and I've played around with different looks but the one product I wear the most is my soft hat, it's as essential as my reading glasses and my new best friend! Comfortable, quick & easy to put on in any event! I've become so attached to my head wear & got used to wearing it that I can see myself using it when my hair returns - especially on those bad hair days! Dear R &R Confidence, thank you so much for the sent items, they are beautiful. I ordered them on behalf of my sister who is undergoing chemo for leukaemia for her daughter's wedding. Unfortunately they are not quite the right colour and so I would like to send them back if you would be as kind as to send me returns details. However, I would like to express to you how impressed we all were with your products, they are beautifully made with gorgeous fabrics and would just look stunning for any occasion. My sister had leukaemia (for the 1st time) 18 years ago and literally there was nothing available to her to put on her head other than baseball caps and dodgy NHS wigs!

Just a note to thank you for your prompt service. I have just bought an Origin and Raine headwrap and I'm really delighted with them both. I have had Alopecia Universalis for nearly three years now and have been looking for a comfortable alternative to my wigs and have now found one. My scalp is quite sensitive and the jersey headwrap is so soft and comfortable and the silk one looks great too. I will definitely be recommending you to my friends on an alopecia forum.

Have now got 3 Lena’s and 1 GiLo jersey and I love them all, they are so comfortable. My GiLo is for around the house and the Lena’s for going out in. I felt so self conscious going out in the head wear I got from the Oncology centre, that I took to wearing a bobble hat, but now I have my selection of your head wear I can hold my head up high. My biggest dilemma is what colour to wear. Thank you so much for providing such a great service.

I have just received my order of Lena and Raine and am delighted with both. They fit really well and are so comfortable and beautiful colours. The Lena is so great I will still use them even after chemo. Do you think you will be making any Lena for men,as I have a son who is already trying to steal mine as its so comfortable?

Great website with plenty of information.

I have the Jersey Scarf, Jersey Lena,Gilo Hat in Silk and Jersey and Silk Pillow case. They are well made and fit well, very comfortable to wear without making your head too hot. I wear my Lena hat around the house and wear it in bed to keep my head warm at night, it washes well and keeps it's shape. Good luck and Thank You.

The website is fantastic and the product is wonderful, Phil and I are so very proud of both of you! I am lucky enough to have never experienced hair loss, but I will still be purchasing a couple of "Lena's" (a girl has to have a choice of colours) as they are stylish as well as comfortable and warm!
